To erect a detached garage, Utility room to rear and Cinema room above. All in keeping with Conservation Area Guide lines and the existing Stone Cottage

Day 2 into the project with trees being felled and site clearing well under way

Concrete slab down and being floated mechanically to give a superior hard finish	Blockwork well under way. Notice the blocks around the door opening being concrete and not insulation blocks. This is due to the pull out force on the sectional garage door fixings on the inner skin. Wall ties built in around the front to take the outer skin of randon stonework

Outer skin built up to first floor. Corner stone detailing already built in pround to accommodate future render. Floor joists scheduled for tomorrow	Gauged joists onto built in hangers. Note Weyroc flooring with all joints glued built in at this early stage. The way we build is changing

Blockwork almost up to wall plate. Construction is ahead of schedule.	Less than 8 weeks into the project and steel ridge beam installed with rafters being fixed. It is hoped that in two days time the roof will be felt and battened and sealed so that first fix can start on the inside.

Insulation 100mm thick being placed between the rafters ready to accept a further insulated plasterboard all round. Warm and cosy.	Its Friday and the end of another week. Stair carcassing being fitted and most of the first fix electrics including all the cinema cabling. All under cover with the slates already stacked and loaded out ready for fixing. We are now on the last hurdle of the project. Well within time schedule.

Ensuite almost plastered. Notice 4 blue glass bricks set into studwork. These will have a light below on sensor so that the client has discreet subdued lighting.	Outside elevation highlighting the painted roughcast render. 10 days before Christmas and way ahead of schedule. Sorry I did not put in a chimney for Santa.
